I am sending this urgent request which I hope you can provide your guidance this coming Wednesday (Feb 10) episode. Last August I misunderstood your guidance on Meituan (3690) and short sell 5,000 shares of #3690 at $165. Year to date mark to market loss is above $1.2 million. Lately I have been encouraged by your view that this stock’s price of about $400 is very overpriced with PE above 900 and might drop, hopefully to $165 to allow me to breakeven and close the position. Do you think this could happen by February / March 2021? I know this is also dependent on the Nasdaq / Dow falling. I have also been thinking of closing out 2000 shares and take a loss of about $500,000 and then short sell the same number of shares at a higher price of above $400, to maintain same position of 5,000 shares but at a higher average price of around $270 and then wait for the share price to fall to around $170 to cover the earlier loss.
